Big Dreams are Born in Preschool!
The NAEYC accredited preschool division of First Pres Prep offers an engaging curriculum focused on fostering social, emotional, academic, physical, and spiritual growth. Our program offers a range of developmentally-appropriate options spanning from a half-day class two times per week to five full days – all under the direction of two specially trained early childhood educators who work in tandem to create a loving and safe classroom environment.
Strategically Planned Programs
Two to five year olds are divided into groups by developmental and chronological age where learning is at play every day through music, dramatic play, cooking, science, arts and crafts, chapel, circle and story time, academics, and more. Monthly themes include seasonal celebrations, character education, and activities to promote an appreciation and acceptance of the diverse world we live in.
We provide a range of developmentally-appropriate options spanning from a half-day class two times per week to five full days – all under the direction of two specially trained early childhood educators who work in tandem to create a loving and safe classroom environment. Lesson plans are emailed to parents every week, during parent-teacher conferences we discuss your child’s development, and we encourage open communication throughout the year.

Two By Two: The Youngest Learners
“Two By Two” is the toddler component of the preschool program at First Pres Prep. It offers little ones a safe and comfortable introduction to the world of learning and is for children aged 18-30 months and their parent (or adult caregiver). Each class meets one morning a week for 2 1/2 hours and is filled with creative teacher-designed experiences for parents and children to enjoy together.
Play includes art, books, blocks, housekeeping and dress-up, play dough, manipulatives, and toys. Puppets, fingerplays, storytelling, music and rhythmic movements provide opportunities for imaginative and artistic expression. Outdoor play is part of every session, weather permitting. Adults discuss topics of relevance to raising young children.
